By accessing or using the Bsustain platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

The Platform is operated by Bsustain, Lda., a company registered in Portugal ("Bsustain", "we", "us", or "our").

Bsustain provides a web-based platform that enables organisations to prepare and generate sustainability reports in accordance with the Voluntary SME Sustainability Reporting Standard (VSME), published by EFRAG. The Platform uses artificial intelligence to assist in drafting and enriching report content based on information you provide.

To use the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the security of your password and account credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.
• Enter false, misleading, or fraudulent information into the Platform.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its infrastructure.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform.
• Use the Platform in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it.

The Platform uses artificial intelligence (powered by OpenAI) to generate and refine text in your sustainability reports. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content is produced based on the data you provide and may require review and editing before publication.
• Bsustain does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or compliance of any AI-generated content.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating the content of any report generated through the Platform before use.

The Platform, including its design, software, and content (excluding your data), is the intellectual property of Bsustain and is protected by applicable laws.

You retain ownership of the data you enter into the Platform. By using the Platform, you grant Bsustain a limited licence to process your data for the purpose of providing the services described in these Terms.

The sustainability reports generated through the Platform are yours. You may use, share, and publish them freely.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bsustain shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
• Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content included in your reports.
• Loss of data or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Bsustain in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at info@bsustain.eu.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
